 Born in Montgomery, AL, Bill was raised in Moultrie, GA and spent his early years there.

 He attended Georgia Southern University, graduating in 1976 with a degree in Economics with an emphasis in finance.

 From 1976 until 1985, Bill managed the financial department of Harper-McCall, where he was responsible for all areas of their financial planning operations. In 1985, he formed his own financial services and wealth management company: “Asset Management Planning.”

 In 1994 he earned the professional designation, “RFC”® from the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. In 2005, he earned the additional professional designation, “AIF” ® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) from the Center For Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

 Bill deals in all areas of insurance and financial services,  but with a special emphasis on investments and wealth accumulation and management.

 Bill is very active in community affairs, having served locally and statewide in a variety of capacities, among which are: Chairman of the local Chamber of Commerce, President of the Moultrie Rotary Club, Chairman of the Moultrie, Colquitt County Arts center, Chairman of the Colquitt County Children’s Advocacy Center, Chairman of the Colquitt County United Way and local Heart Association. He further serves his community and the citizens of Georgia, having been nominated by the Governor and approved by the Georgia Senate to sit as a director of the Georgia Department of Corrections where among his duties are: overseeing a $1 billion + budget and nearly 15,000 employees.

Professionally, he has served as President of the Moultrie Independent Insurance Agents Association and as President of the Moultrie Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
