Our Philosophy

The cornerstone of our philosophy is the undisputed fact that knowledge is power. We are here to provide that knowledge with the goal of achieving long term success and a stable future. If you’re looking for the next hot stock tip, the secrets to gambling on the market or a get rich quick scheme, you’ve come to the wrong place. We are here to empower our clients with a better more comprehensive understanding of how the market works and how to best leverage available options to reach their financial goals.

What Sets Us Apart

  • The tools we use to construct our portfolios are not available to the general public and are only available through advisors who have been strictly scrutinized and follow a prescribed set of investment rules. These tools are unique and provide advantages to investors in terms of cost and tax savings.
  • We are investor coaches, not “advisors” or “planners.” As such, we adhere to a disciplined approach and will not do what the investor wants if we believe it not to be in the investor’s best interest – even if it means losing that investor as a client.
  • We work with clients to assist them in dealing with their own investment behavior to dampen those instincts and emotions that are detrimental to their achieving their objectives.
  • A fee based, fiduciary relationship is not something that’s new to us. We’ve been doing this consistently since 1990.
  • We have a core set of philosophical investment beliefs that we will not change in order to secure the engagement. We believe these verities have stood the test of time.
  • We tell our clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. The most important word in our lexicon often is “NO!” If you’re looking for a firm that will follow your orders, we’re not the place for you – you’ll be happier somewhere else.
  • If we do not feel you and we are a proper or appropriate fit we will tell you and not accept an engagement. We do what we do and how we do it without apologies – we are not everyone’s cup of tea.
